2 Ways You Can HELP PTA!

You can help Indiana PTA increase our VOICE! It's amazing how just having your name on the Indiana PTA roster will impact the state legislators. Joining the PTA is like signing a petition to support our kids. The more signatures, the more power Indiana PTA can influence those state legislators who continue to cut public school funding. It is $5.00 per person to join. Every member gets a Fort Wayne Area Council PTA discount card with 19 discounts all around the city. A couple of trips to Crazy Pinz, Wendy's, Marco Pizza, or Red Robin will make up for the membership fee.

Three hours. Not a lot of time, but Shambaugh PTA is asking for your time. Three for Me is a National PTA program, encouraging ALL parents to give just three hours of volunteer time to our school per school year. That's right not per week, month, or semester, but per year! You do not have to be a PTA member to commit to the three hours, anyone can volunteer. Volunteer time can be used for helping with Movie Night, Skating Parties, Popcorn days, Haunted Gym, Book fair, Classroom parties, Sparkle Shop, wrapping presents for Christmas families, Field Day, and field trips. Volunteers can call from home in the evenings for Market Day pick up, Fundraiser pick up, call for volunteers for upcoming events, letting people know spiritwear is available for pick up, Staff Appreciation food of the month, and help PTA make copies at school.
